The Day the Planet Went Dark - Intro
« on: February 23, 2018, 08:21:46 PM »

Roughly 30 years post-film, the RDA has returned to Pandora and tried to make amends with the Na'vi, making great political and some very personal strides to help repair the 'friendship' that they once had…or so it seems.

After having learned enough about Pandora, the Na'vi, and their deity, Eywa, from his anthropologist wife, Colonel Mack Carbonell has been given the orders to find a way to weaken or take out the All-Mother so that the mining can resume without native interference. He has found such a way: Torsayey Vrrtep, the "Demon of Final Fate", Eywa's ancient enemy from across the stars. For eons it has been imprisoned on another moon that orbits Polyphemus. And now the RDA has released it.

In order to fight this evil, Eywa leaves Pandora…and the Balance is profoundly disturbed. Without Eywa, Pandora is falling into chaos: the world is cooling, the bioluminescence has died in the night-forest, and the Sacred Trees are just…trees. The People are confused and in a panic, while the RDA is preparing for an all-out genocide. And this time the inhabitants do not even have Eywa to turn to.

The legends say that the last time the All-Mother faced Vrrtep, She barely survived. Can She defeat it again and come back in time to restore Pandora? Who will defend Her world in Her absence?
