(It's a longtime joke in LARP: that beginner that want to play a solid case of ninja-dragon-vampire mix with elven ancestors, dragon blood, raised by a dark magician of the highest orders after his family got slaughtered by orcs)

Oh, you mean me, with my love of a good misfit? No vampire in mine, but plenty of werewolves - plus a big fellow, possibly a precursor to Ben, who is half-Ogre, one-quarter Orc and one-quarter Fire Giant. And a Roman citizen!! (You know there'd be a Mary-Sue component, didn'tcha?)

Yeah, I was thinking of mating season with your character up there and then - for my mental health - decided it had have to be a magical accident or something. I think the frowns about those exotic characters are specific for a certain group of German Larpers. In Pen and Paper there's a lot more leeway. And never underestimate the creativity of players, after all.

Lentulus: It's the burning-village story, but with a twist: Ogres raided an Orc village and raped any females they could find. Not sure where the Fire Giant component came from... His biggest problem was convincing anyone that he was an adopted Roman, not a beast for the arena. The Legions tend not to go by appearance much; if you look like you can survive boot camp, you're probably in...
